Patient Ratings
The patient ratings and comments on this page are obtained from an external Press Ganey® outpatient survey provided to all eligible CTCA patients within one to two weeks of their treatment occurrence. Raw data from the answers to the survey questions about our physicians are calculated by Press Ganey into a one- to five- star rating. In the spirit of transparency, all patient comments are posted as written by the patient, whether they are positive or negative. We only exclude comments if they are deemed to be slanderous or libelous, contain profanity or vulgar language, or do not relate to the patient's experience with the doctor involved including comments directed at hospital COVID-19 policies and procedures. As a result, the comments are the views and opinions of the patients surveyed and are not endorsed by, and may not necessarily reflect the opinion of, CTCA.

"I had some communication issues with this department. I couldn't get them to call me back with questions (even after reaching out to the nurse navigator) and I wasn't overall impressed with Dr. Prabbathi's bedside manner. She brought an entourage into the exam room and none of them were introduced to me. The biggest miss was that I was told I was going to be given a cap to prevent hair loss prior to chemo- but no one explained the process for this, so I showed up at my first chemo appointment, expecting that I would get one. unfortunately, I was never told that it was something that has to be ordered ahead of time, and that there was a whole process involved. so as a result, I missed an opportunity to save my hair. In my overall satisfaction with the hospital, the medical oncology department was the biggest disappointment."

"She was not personable at all. she did not perform an assessment. She did not ask if we had any questions...when asking questions she acted as if she did not want to be bothered. When asking questions about scans she was not open to questions or concerns in regards to possible future scans. Could be a great oncologist if she had a better personality and bedside manner. My [...] was treated at CTCA and this was not what we were accustomed to."
