Dr. Hendrickson earned his Bachelor of Science in biology at the University of Central Oklahoma in 1994. He received his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree at Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1998. His postgraduate training included an internship in family medicine and a residency in internal medicine at Tulsa Regional Medical Center, completed in 2002.

In 2002, Dr. Hendrickson joined Oklahoma State University Center for Health Sciences as Associate Professor of Medicine in the Department of Internal Medicine. Later, he served as Hospitalist at a regional medical center in Oklahoma. From 2011 to 2013, Dr. Hendrickson completed a fellowship in gastroenterology at Oklahoma State University Medical Center, which included training at CTCA®. He then worked in a gastroenterology specialist practice and joined CTCA as a gastroenterologist in September 2014.

Dr. Hendrickson is board certified in internal medicine and gastroenterology by the American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine. He holds a license to practice medicine through the State of Oklahoma. He is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology, the American Osteopathic Association, the Oklahoma Osteopathic Association, the Tulsa Osteopathic Medical Society, the Osteopathic Founders Foundation and the American College of Osteopathic Internists. In 2007, he was awarded the title of Fellow of the American College of Osteopathic Internists, a recognition of excellence in teaching and contribution to education.

Dr. Hendrickson has held numerous professional appointments since 2002. He currently serves as Adjunct Clinical Professor at Oklahoma State University College of Health Sciences and as Adjunct Clinical Preceptor at the Arkansas College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Previously, he served as Residency Director for Internal Medicine, Vice Chairman of the Department of Internal Medicine, and Chairman of the Postgraduate Education Committee at Oklahoma State University Medical Center. He also served as Adjunct Assistant Professor at the University of Oklahoma College of Pharmacy.

A dedicated researcher, Dr. Hendrickson has published studies in several renowned medical journals and has served as an investigator for many clinical trials to advance the treatment of emphysema, HIV, Crohn’s disease and others conditions.

At CTCA, Dr. Hendrickson is a gastroenterology specialist. “My practice makes full use of the state-of-the-art technology available at CTCA for our patients in need,” says Dr. Hendrickson.

In his free time, Dr. Hendrickson enjoys spending time with his wife and four daughters.
