Terri Linehan is a Speech Therapist at Cancer Treatment Centers of America® (CTCA) at the hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Linehan had previously worked as a contractor at CTCA® since 2004. She joined the hospital full time in October 2017. Linehan is part of the oncology rehabilitation team, working alongside physical therapists and occupational therapists.

At CTCA, Linehan conducts speech, language and cognitive assessments, as well as evaluations for those with dysphagia (swallowing impairments). She executes treatment plans, using advanced technology and strategies to address issues that impair speech and swallowing.

“I work closely with my patients to help them restore function and improve quality of life,” says Linehan. “One of the largest populations I serve is those fighting head and neck cancer, and patients who have had total laryngectomies.”

Linehan provides interventions related to voice restoration, vocal quality, articulation, linguistic skills and swallowing function. She is also trained to help patients who have received a voice prosthesis or tracheoesophageal puncture (TEP).

Linehan graduated from University of Wyoming in Laramie, Wyoming, where she received a bachelor’s degree in speech pathology and audiology. She went on to complete her Master of Science degree in speech pathology from the same school.

Linehan holds a certificate in clinical competence in speech language pathology from the American Speech and Hearing Association. She is a licensed speech pathologist in Oklahoma. Before joining CTCA, Linehan gained clinical experience in a variety of settings.

Linehan grew up in Wyoming and Colorado and enjoys outdoor activities, such as snow skiing and water skiing. Linehan and her husband have called Tulsa home since 1998 and have two children. Besides spending time with family and friends, she also enjoys traveling and exercising.
Patient ratings
Star ratings and comments are only available for medical, radiation and gynecologic oncologists. Gynecologic surgical offerings are not included at this time due to a different survey tool required to evaluate these services. CTCA uses a validated Press Ganey® survey, which captures patient experience feedback for the primary oncology services of chemotherapy and radiation therapy at our comprehensive care and research centers. Following industry best practice, star ratings and comments are only published for physicians with a minimum of 30 completed patient surveys.
