Naini Kohli, a naturopathic provider at Cancer Treatment Centers of America®(CTCA) in Philadelphia, describes why she loves working at CTCA®: "Here, I found my concept of a near-perfect model of health care.”

Kohli earned a bachelor of medicine/bachelor of surgery (MBBS) degree from the Government Medical College and Associated Hospitals in Jammu, India. During this time, she completed over five years of medical training in basic and clinical sciences. Specifically, her training included a rotary internship in all major clinical sciences, including preventative and social medicine, as well as a junior residency in obstetrics and gynecology.

After her graduate training, Kohli enrolled in the University of Kashmir, also in India, where she earned a medical degree in obstetrics and gynecology. Kohli later earned a diploma in health and family welfare management from the National Institute of Health and Family Welfare in New Delhi.

While living in India, Kohli served as a medical officer, obstetrician/gynecologist, senior research officer and senior consultant for several hospitals, including Indraprastha Apollo Hospital in New Dehli. She also taught at Amity College of Physiotherapy as a senior lecturer in obstetrics and gynecologic education.

In 2006, Kohli moved to the United States to attend the University of Bridgeport College of Naturopathic Medicine in Connecticut. There, she earned a doctorate degree in naturopathic medicine.

Kohli completed additional training at CTCA before joining the naturopathic support team in 2009. “My search for a integrative approach to health led me to naturopathic support, and in CTCA I found what I had been looking for all these years,” she explains. She says CTCA provides a different experience than most other cancer hospitals because each staff member always wears a smile.

Kohli has lectured extensively on issues pertaining to the integrative management of cancer patients at several professional and public events.

Kohli enjoys reading, listening to music and poetry, and traveling.

Patient ratings
Star ratings and comments are only available for medical, radiation and gynecologic oncologists. Gynecologic surgical offerings are not included at this time due to a different survey tool required to evaluate these services. CTCA uses a validated Press Ganey® survey, which captures patient experience feedback for the primary oncology services of chemotherapy and radiation therapy at our comprehensive care and research centers. Following industry best practice, star ratings and comments are only published for physicians with a minimum of 30 completed patient surveys.
